I love musical theatre. It is very corny to say that, but I always have. I grew up in Illinois listening to the album of ANNIE every day trying desperately to sound like Andrea McArdle. Tragically, I did sound like her and it took me years to figure out that it is not always a good thing for a man to sound like Annie. Damn you Annie!

About Me

I trained in musical theatre at the University of Michigan where I finally saw WEST SIDE STORY. After seeing that film, I left the theatre and made a proclamation before everyone and God. “I swear I will be in that show some day!”

Tragically, I should have been more specific. Years later, after moving to New York, I did the national tour, but sadly my dark and exotic look bumped me to the pivotal role of “Nibbles,” the mute Puerto Rican. Damn you, dark and exotic ancestors!

I finally landed a Broadway show and things weren’t so tragic anymore. I was getting work going from show to show and I was very content and happy! And not tragically, I started doing more and more choreography, and I really liked it.

So, I am now on another quest. A quest to be creative. A quest to rival all quests before. Who knows? Maybe I can finally do the first Annie with a boy belter. Or maybe give a voice, or at least one f***ing line to “Nibbles.”

And the quest starts here. Thanks for listening.
