His choreography credits include: West Side Story, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (Woodminster Theater), Wonderful town (Neighborhood Theater), Sentimental Journey (Pier 39 Theater), Mambo Mouth (Penguin Rep Theater), Body Electric (OSA Annual Gala Event), Footloose, Guys and Dolls and Grease and also Co Choreographer Carousel (Marriott Lincolnshire Theater). His concert dance choreography includes: Mambo Mio, Tango Resolucion (Savage Jazz Dance Company), Central Park, Streets Have No Name, Mambo Gallego,(OSA Concert Dance Series), I'll Be Home For Christmas, Christmas Mambo (Olympic Club Christmas Show), Tanga (Jacobs Pillow Jazz Workshop). As a performer Alex has spent 14 years in New York, performing in over 10 Broadway shows, five City Center Encores productions and countless regional theaters. Mr. Sanchez spent the first ten years of his career as a concert ballet dancer and was a soloist, with Chicago City Ballet/ Ballet Chicago.
